I found the laces on my skechers trainers to be a bit slippery, and they kept seeming to come undone during walks... So I found these!
A bit of a faff to set them up, and I may have burnt the edges a little too much before popping the clip on (rubber really sets alight!) but at least they won't be fraying!
Super comfortable with enough stretch to get on/off easily but keep my foot firmly in the shoe when wearing.
I'll be investing in more of these laces!
Nice and long, lots of stretch, look good and a fair price
Ideal for someone who cannot bend to tie normal shoelaces and still wants to remain active or if you have a problem with hand mobility.
I have only used 1 pair so far but very comfortable to wear.I found it a bit of a faff to get the right fit. I had to result to tying them and wearing the trainers for a while to see if that was the desired length before cutting, tying, burning and connecting them and even then they were a little loose. The laces look like ordinary laces so make no difference to the look of my trainers. I have found that i am able to slip off the trainers without having to undo them but its a bit more difficult to get them on.My trainers feel different but not bad different and as i said they really comfortable.
It's an aglet- what a great word.Cut off the plastic end of the lace (aglet) after putting on the metal cap on tie a knot in the lace after getting the required length, screw them together and done.As the laces are elasticated your feet can simply slide in instead of doing/undoing your laces each and every time.Maybe I'm old (I am) but what's wrong with tying a bow? Seems to be finding a solution to a problem that's not there!
