Chesnut Round Elastic Shoe Laces

Why did you choose this product over others?:
These no tie laces are such a clever upgrade. Once I got the hang of setting them up, they completely transformed the ease of getting my trainers on and off. It took a bit of adjusting at first to find the right tension, but the result is absolutely worth the effort. The elastic is strong but flexible, making them really comfortable for all-day wear.

The screw lock ends are smart and feel secure once in place. I love that the finish looks tidy and clean, no flapping laces or knots coming undone. They give my shoes a neat, almost custom look, and I don’t have to mess around tying and retying anymore. Perfect for travel, commuting, or just everyday convenience.

They’ve held up well, feel high quality, and I’ll definitely be using these in more pairs. Ideal for anyone who likes a fuss-free, sleek option that still looks sharp.

These are good but a bit fiddly to get right. No second chance on length if you cut too short.

Very nice item. Easy to fit, great colours and add a nice bright accent to white trainers. They stretch well and feel like a quality made item. The connectors work really well and as such are easy to adjust as needed. I got the orange colour and they are a really nice shade, bright but not badly so. Recommended for an easy slip on solution for trainers, particularly for those who might not find it easy to tie laces for whatever reason.

Teezy's shoe laces reminded me of a visit to the USA more than twenty years ago when elastic laces for trainers were all the rage. I bought a bagful, used some and gave the others away as presents. I ran out of them years ago and have not seen more on subsequent visits. I winced, initially, when I compared the price of those laces to these....and then I realised how much inflation has changed things. Also, we now have a much less favourable rate of exchange. Teezy's laces are a reasonable price after all.

These laces come with a very neat way of finishing the ends so there is no mess, just tiny barrels which screw together. However, preparing these, as shown on Teezy's own video, is a rather final solution, there is no scope for adjustment once you have knotted and sealed the ends. I confess I have simply trimmed my laces to a reasonable length and tied a bow. I have though heat sealed the raw ends. I will make a commitment to trainer tidiness, but not just yet. However, I am relieved to have at last found a source of elastic laces.

This is a different version of laces than I'm used to so it was a bit of an experiment to get the right tension, fit & fiddle with the end pieces. The older fashion of plastic clips & toggles is a quick study, this one needs a bit more effort but in my view, as agrees with other reviewers, it's worth it.

The video on the product page is a boon for seeing exactly what needs doing. You get the elastic laces which if you're out of pre-school you should be a dab hand at sorting out. After getting the elastic to a close to perfect fit for getting your foot in & out of the shoe, it's time to tackle the metal toggle. This needs threading & then knotting of the elastic, followed by a bit of pyromania to seal the ends. The knot you make should be test fitted to the toggle before you finish those steps so you know you've got the right tension. Once complete you simple screw the alloy toggles together for a secure fit.

I ordered the navy blue elastic & the colour is perfect for my trainers. The elastic is good quality & the toggles screw together with a firm hold. I like these but they do require some time to get them just right. Worth it for very little outlay & so easy to get your footwear on & off without the hassle.
