I am pretty lazy and just slip my trainers on and off, either Tim ing in the laces or double knotting them. These were fairly easy to install and cut down to size for my trainers. They have stayed the correct size and not come loose yet. The design is pretty funky too.
So what I like about these is the style great for any horror fan, you get just 1 pair of laces which clasps, you have to read the fitting instructions but I found it a little awkward to get right to start and it is best to use a lighter to set the ends once you have them to the right length because they are going to fray, these are elasticated made to just slip in and off. There is a video on the Amazon page. Not a bad price but would like two pairs .
Really good replacement of traditional shoe laces. Very easy to use. I only used half of 1 string for my son’s size 1 shoes. He hates shoelaces especially it got caught into something or comes undone. Loose shoelaces are trip hazard . This turns his trainers into slip on which is easier and quicker to put on and safe to use. Good elasticity and quick lock buckle is easy to use. Easy to adjust. Just need a lighter to burn the cut ends a little. The fun splash design looks good on his pair of trainers.
I'm one of those people who tends to not untie my laces and just have them loose enough to be able to slide my feet in, quite often the laces will come undone and I have to retie them, I have seen these no tie laces and often thought about giving them a try and now I have. The first problem for me was colour choice, I went for black with the coloured splatter effect because they look just a tad more manly apart from the shinny clasp, good enough for a try out though.Simple enough to fit just lace up the shoe in the normal way then put the shoe on, make sure you have a couple of centimetres either side, if too long cut them down, then clamp the ends in the clasp and that's it, my trainers slip on and off just like they did before and feel secure, my only negative is they are a bit pricey for a pair of laces.
I like these laces. They are funky colours but not overstated.Installation did take a while as the original lace ends were a little bit big for the intended shoes.Once laced on you then - as per the video instructions in the last picture of the description - have to cut the laces down to a suitable length by cutting each end (e.g. with scissors) and then ideally burn the new ends so that they seal up again. Once you have your new ends you can put them in the clasp which itself splits in two by pressing the button in the middle of it.Once you got the laces and clasp on the laces are stretchy enough to just add a bit of effort to get your shoes on and off without undoing the laces. Although if you want to make it easier you can just press the button on the clasp to release the lace tops. The laces look good and the clasp works well - nice and secure.I wanted to try out these laces on biking shoes as I've had a few times where the dangling part of tied up laces has caught up in the chain or pedals and this will stop that entirely whilst being secure enough on the shoes. They are quite pricey for a single pair of laces and installation does take a little while but the end result is very good.5 stars from me.
