This pair of elastic shoe laces are great for transforming your shoes into slip on shoes. The laces are good quality, well made, durable and easy to install. Once you have the tension correct you then tie the end off and secure the laces with the toggle. They are easy to use, comfortable and they work well. I'm pleased with them.
The idea is really fun and I really wanted to like these but I had to get my hubby to help with the buckle part.The pack comes with a little card with instructions that you might easily dismiss as a simple business card that some businesses include. However, you really do need to follow the instructions as I found out.The lace is very, very stretchy, and if you’re anything like me, you will accidently twang it on yourself a few times with it while threading your shoes. This helps because the aglet, the rolled end, is left on the lace, but you will need to cut this off, and a portion of the lace to fit the buckle.At first, I thought one of the buckles were broken as it came in multiple pieces, and I just couldn’t get it to click back together again. The hubby managed to do it for me, not sure how the children would have faired with it. Then the threading of the now cut lace into the buckle. The buckle folds over with teeth that grip it in place, but you have to cut it quite short for the buckle fully seat in to place. This is a lot of trial and error and would advise you not to cut it fully to size until you’ve put the shoe on and seen how tight or slack you need the lace to be. It is very stretchy so you might need to tighter than you think.Once setup it works well and the pink colour looks fab.
